White cabbage of the "ZARYA MS" variety is an early and high-yielding variety developed by the Czech company AGROFIRMA MORAVOSEED. This variety is characterized by small, uniform, round-oval heads weighing between 1.6 and 2.0 kg. The outer color of the heads is light green without anthocyanin, while the interior is white-yellow when cut. The leaf rosette ranges from horizontal to raised, with a height of 15 to 22 cm and a weak waxy coating. The inner stalk reaches 4-6 cm in length. The maturity period is 107 to 118 days, allowing for early harvest.
The "ZARYA MS" variety is recommended for growing in garden and vegetable plots, homesteads, and small farms. It is intended for fresh consumption and is especially suitable for vegetable salads due to its excellent taste qualities. The cabbage is resistant to head cracking, which facilitates harvest and storage. Successful cultivation requires regular and abundant watering, as well as proper seedling planting in the second half of March – early April, followed by transplanting to open ground at the end of April or in early May according to a 40x60 or 60x40 cm scheme.
The yield of the variety is from 4.6 to 5.0 kg per square meter, which corresponds to 462-500 centners per hectare. Due to its characteristics and adaptation to the conditions of the Central region, cabbage "ZARYA MS" is an excellent choice for obtaining early and high-quality white cabbage harvest.
