The Arctica cabbage variety is a late-maturing hybrid, distinguished by its dense head with a round shape and white flesh when cut. This variety has increased resistance to cracking, ensuring long-term storage and maintaining marketable appearance. Excellent taste qualities make Arctica cabbage in demand for both fresh consumption and processing.

For growing Arctica cabbage, it is recommended to use well-cultivated neutral or slightly acidic soils, avoiding sandy and waterlogged areas. The best predecessors for this variety are legumes, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, beets, and horseradish. Sowing for seedlings is usually done in the second half of March or from April 10, depending on climatic conditions. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground at the end of April or in May, following a planting scheme of 60x60 cm, with planting depth reaching the first true leaf without burying the top bud.

Care for cabbage includes regular soil loosening, weeding, abundant watering, and fertilization. Seedlings need to be hardened and fed: the first feeding is done at the stage of two true leaves, the second - a few days before transplanting into the ground. During the growing season, 2-3 feedings are recommended to ensure full development of plants and obtaining a high yield of quality cabbage.
