ELEGY

Cabbage 'Elegy F1' is a mid-season hybrid with a vegetative period of about 120 days. The plants are compact, while the heads feature a dense structure, round shape, and light green color with a whitish cut. Head weight varies from 2 to 4 kg with a small stalk. Due to its high density and tight structure, the cabbage has excellent storage life, making it convenient for storage and use over a long period.

This variety is undemanding and hardy, adapting well to various growing conditions. 'Elegy' cabbage has juicy, crisp, and sweet flesh, making it ideal for pickling, as well as preparing various culinary dishes and salads. The smooth surface of the heads and uniform size ensure ease of use and high commercial appeal.

Agrotechnology for cultivation includes sowing in the first half of April at a depth of 0.5-1 cm, followed by pricking out seedlings after 8-12 days. Seedlings are planted with 5-6 true leaves from mid-May to early June at a spacing of 50x60 cm. Throughout the summer, regular loosening, weeding, and feeding are recommended, as well as timely watering with warm water. Harvesting is carried out as the heads mature, usually in September-October.
