WINTER QUEEN

White cabbage of the 'Winter Queen' variety is a late-maturing universal variety with a vegetation period of 135–140 days. The plant forms large, sturdy, and uniform heads weighing from 2 to 4 kg, which under favorable conditions can reach almost 6 kg. The heads have a flat-rounded or egg-shaped form, with dense leaf placement without gaps and a short inner stalk. The leaves are colored blue-green or gray-green with a characteristic waxy coating, which provides them with additional protection and resistance to unfavorable conditions.

The inner part of the head differs with a snow-white or slightly yellowish tint, juiciness, and a crisp structure. The taste of the cabbage is rich and slightly sweet, thanks to the high sugar content, which makes the variety particularly attractive for culinary use. 'Winter Queen' is excellent for pickling, making fresh salads, and various culinary dishes. Thanks to its juiciness and taste qualities, the cabbage retains its properties during long-term storage.

The variety is adapted to low temperatures and a short day length, which ensures its stability in winter conditions. However, it poorly tolerates extreme climatic conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, 'Winter Queen' is a reliable choice for growing in regions with a cool climate and ensures a stable yield of quality cabbage for winter consumption.
