Iris "Navaho Blanket" – a large variety with an inflorescence diameter of up to 18 cm. The lower petals have a velvety-purple hue and wavy edges, giving the buds an exquisite appearance. The upper petals are colored in a grayish tone with a slight lilac tint, while the beard transitions from gray to yellow.
The plant reaches a height of 105 cm and has a robust, short-branched scape. Flowering begins in mid-June and lasts approximately 13–17 days, during which 6 to 7 flowers are gathered in each inflorescence. "Navaho Blanket" is distinguished by a moderate aroma.
The variety belongs to the category of floricultural irises and was included in the register of FGBNU "All-Russian Research Institute of Horticulture and Peony Breeding" in 1994. It is winter-hardy, making it suitable for growing in various climatic zones.
