The iris variety "DOBRYNYA" belongs to the group of Japanese irises and was registered in the register of admitted plants in 1996. It is grown in all regions of Russia, and its originators – the Federal Altai Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology. The plant height reaches 73 cm, leaves are dark green, and the scape is straight and strong up to 65 cm long. Usually six scapes grow on one bush, each containing two large (14×10 cm) white flowers with lilac veins and strokes. Flowering begins in early July and lasts about two weeks.
"DOBRYNYA" is distinguished by high disease resistance and good winter hardiness, which makes it a universal choice both for decorative gardens and for landscape greening. Thanks to the strong scape and bright flower coloring, the plant retains aesthetic appeal even under adverse weather conditions.
The variety is widely used in commercial gardens and private plots due to its reliability, beautiful appearance, and ease of care. It combines perfectly with other decorative plants, creating harmonious compositions in summer and autumn periods.
