The iris "Altaisky Snyurochka" is a Japanese hybrid created through directed selection of the Polenitsa variety and the 3.3-88 hybrid. The variety gained recognition from the State Register of Achievements (GSI) due to its winter hardiness, resistance to pests and diseases, as well as medium drought and heat tolerance.
Flowering begins on July 8 and continues until July 23, with a duration of approximately 12-15 days. The flowers are white, six-petaled, with a diameter of about 18 cm and a height of 6 cm; the outer petals reach a length of 8.5-9.5 cm, while the inner ones are 7-8.5 cm. Bushes grow up to 88 cm in height and typically form two to three flowers on each scape.
The variety is perfect for greening the shores of water bodies, creating summer flower gardens, and cutting for fresh bouquets. Due to its high decorative value (rated at 95 points), it becomes a popular choice both in urban gardens and on suburban plots, where its ability to withstand cold winters is appreciated.
