Description POLYGLOT
Polyglot is an early variety of garden rocket (Eruca sativa Mil.) that reaches harvest readiness 22–28 days after germination. The plant grows excellently both in open ground and protected conditions: containers, heated greenhouses, and even in flow culture. Thanks to its raised rosette and intensive growth at early development stages, Polyglot quickly gains mass, forming a compact structure with a large number of leaves.

Leaves of the variety are 18–20 cm long, have an oak-leaf shape, slightly serrated edges, and a smooth surface. The color is rich green, and medium gloss gives them an attractive appearance. A specific ratio of essential oils provides a characteristic mustard taste with a piquant spiciness, making rocket Polyglot an especially valuable ingredient for salads and side dishes.

Polyglot is characterized by good transportability: the dense structure of leaves preserves appearance and aroma even during long-term storage. The plant does not regrow significantly after cutting, so to continuously obtain fresh leaves, sowing is recommended every two weeks. During hot periods, plants quickly transition to flowering, so harvesting greens in these months should be timely to avoid loss of taste qualities.
