Hop Nadia

A Resilient Variety for Modern Brewing

The 'Nadiya' hop variety, developed by the Institute of Agriculture of Polissia (UAAS), stands out as a robust, climate-adapted solution for local growers. Unlike imported, high-maintenance hybrids, Nadiya is defined by its exceptional field performance. Its resistance to verticillium wilt and powdery mildew is a significant agronomic advantage, allowing growers to produce high-quality yields with minimal reliance on chemical treatments.

Why Craft Brewers Value Nadiya

Positioned as a dual-purpose variety, Nadiya is highly valued in the craft beer industry for its versatility. It provides a balanced profile that works well for both bittering and aromatic additions. Its green cones are known for maintaining essential oils, which translate into a distinct character that craft brewers seek for unique, small-batch releases.

• Natural Resilience: Built-in resistance to major fungal pathogens reduces production risks and costs.
• Dual Functionality: Streamlines inventory by serving both bittering and aromatic needs in the brewhouse.
• Proven Reliability: Bred specifically for local conditions, ensuring consistent performance year over year.

Nadiya is the optimal choice for growers prioritizing sustainable agriculture without sacrificing output. For craft brewers, it offers a reliable, locally-sourced ingredient that delivers consistent quality for signature recipes. Its balance of hardiness in the field and effectiveness in the kettle makes it a practical cornerstone for any craft-focused hop program.
