Beta Profi

Mode of action:

Systemic herbicide with strong herbicidal effect both through the leaves and soil. Active ingredients — fenmedifam and desmedifam — inhibit Hill reactions in photosynthesis; ethofumesate — stops cell division (mitosis processes) in the meristem. Visible herbicidal effects appear within 2–7 days after application. Maximum efficacy is achieved when applied within a temperature range of 10–25°C.

Spectrum of activity:

The presence of three active ingredients provides Beta Profi with broad, reliable control over more than 40 species of annual dicotyledonous weeds, including:

— Amaranthus retroflexus (prostrate amaranth);

— Ambrosia artemisiifolia (ragweed);

— Lapsana communis (common hawkweed);

— Veronika spp (veronica);

— Anchusa officinalis (hemp agrimony);

— Centaurea cyanus (cornflower);

— Galinsoga parviflora (small-flowered galinsoga);

— Polygonum spp (knotweed);

— Sinapis arvensis (field mustard);

— Lamium spp (deadnettle);

— Capsella bursa-pastoris (shepherd’s purse);

— Datura stramonium (jimsonweed);

— Galeopsis tetrahit (common hemp-nettle);

— Senecio vulgaris (common groundsel);

— Stellaria media (common chickweed);

— Chrysanthemum segetum (field chrysanthemum);

— Urtica urens (stinging nettle);

— Salsola kali (Russian knawel);

— Anagallis arvensis (field pimpernel).

Application rates:

Beta Profi should be applied at the seedling stage of weeds. In this case, 0.8–1.0 L/ha is sufficient for complete weed control. When applied during the 2–4 true leaf stage of weeds, the application rate should be increased to 1.5–2.0 L/ha.

Beta Profi can be used in tank mixes, but compatibility of mixed products must be checked in advance.
