Burefen Super

Ensuring clean fodder beet fields

When you head out into the field to check on early-stage fodder beet, the main concern is preventing weeds from overpowering the crop. It is a textbook example of high-quality selectivity: the product clears out lamb's quarters, amaranth, and knotweed without stressing the crop itself.

Operational insights

Depending on the weed pressure, adjust the application rate from 1.0 to 3.0 L/ha. Being a contact post-emergence herbicide, the key is timing—applying it specifically to the leaf surface as soon as weeds start to emerge. The combination of desmedipham, phenmedipham, and ethofumesate ensures rapid disruption of the weeds' vegetative mass.

• Max of 2 applications per season is sufficient for full protection.
• The emulsion concentrate mixes well and doesn't clog spray nozzles.
• Selective action: no need to worry about side effects on the crop when following the label guidelines.

The German quality of Bayer is evident in the consistency of the results. When the temperature and plant growth stages are managed correctly, "Burefen Super" effectively eliminates annual broad-leaved weeds.
