Horizont, EC

Why «Horizon, CE» is the standard for beet growers

When working in sugar beet fields, effective weed control is the difference between a high yield and lost profit. Using the «Horizon, CE» herbicide from the «Himagromarketing» brand, you get a reliable, systematic solution based on the proven combination of desmedipham, phenmedipham, and ethofumesate. It penetrates deep into the plant, which is crucial for managing tough weeds like common ragweed or lamb's quarters.

Field performance and application

From an operator's perspective, this herbicide is a go-to tool for post-emergence control. Its selectivity is excellent: it hits the weeds hard while keeping the crop completely safe.

• Application rate: Using 0.5 – 1.0 l/ha is highly efficient, provided you catch the weeds early at the cotyledon stage.
• Operational ease: The emulsifiable concentrate formulation mixes easily in the spray tank and doesn't clog the nozzles, making it hassle-free for long days in the field.
• Weed spectrum: It performs exceptionally well against cleavers, shepherd's purse, and wild mustard, which are often problematic for weaker formulations.

It is a predictable, highly effective systemic herbicide that simplifies the entire maintenance process while maintaining high safety standards.
