Description Betaren Ekspres Am
Advantages

effectively suppresses annual dicotyledonous and some cereal weeds at an early stage of their development;
perfectly compatible in tank mixes with other herbicides to expand the spectrum of action;
exhibits rapid herbicidal effect.
Formulation
Concentrate emulsion containing 60 g/l fenmedifam + 60 g/l desmedifam + 60 g/l ethofumesate

Mode of action
The drug disrupts photosynthesis and protein metabolism in weeds. Fenmedifam and desmedifam penetrate through the leaves and have translaminar action, preventing photosynthesis. Ethofumesate penetrates through roots and leaves and has a systemic effect, disrupting mitosis in weed cells.

Period of protective action
Determined by the appearance of the second "wave" of weeds.

Speed of exposure
Weed growth stops within one day after treatment. Visible symptoms of herbicide action on weeds appear 3-4 days after treatment.

Spectrum of action
Annual dicotyledonous and some cereal weeds
susceptible species: common cocklebur, Veronica (species), groundsel (species), field mustard, lesser swine-cress, common teasel, medicinal enchanter's nightshade, various thistles, intermediate hawkbit, spring crucifer, spreading lambsquarters, smartweeds (species), various milkweeds, awned oatgrass, field forget-me-not, black nightshade, shepherd's purse, chickweed (species), catchfly, pennycress thyme-leaved, common cudweed, field pansy, oraches, field woundwort.
moderately susceptible species: blue cornflower, field vetch, wild chamomile, Soja beanweed, cutleaf groundcherry, prickly lettuce, mayweed chamomile, green foxtail, oats, wormwood, various goosegrasses, purslane.
weakly susceptible species: common cocklebur, field bindweed, Virginia creeper, various dandelions, plantains (species), meadow buttercup, perennial sowthistle, creeping bent, common dandelion, scentless mayweed.

Compatibility
To expand the spectrum of action, it is recommended to use in tank mixes. Compatible with a number of herbicides such as Furex, Lorneth, Panther, Forward, Mitron and others used on sugar beet crops. Before application, check for physicochemical compatibility.

Possibility of resistance development
The possibility of resistance development has not been identified.

Application technology. Procedure for preparing the working fluid
Prepare a working solution immediately before use. Measure the required amount of product per one tank refill. First, prepare a concentrated emulsion of the product in a separate container. Fill a separate container with 1/4 water, then add the measured amount of the product, mix thoroughly, and top up with water to 3/4 of the volume (concentration of stock solution is 50-70% by product). Then prepare the working solution as follows: fill the sprayer tank with about half the water, pour in the concentrated emulsion of the product, add water to a full volume, and mix the working fluid mechanically. At the same time, rinse several times with water the container in which the concentrated emulsion was prepared.
When using tank mixes of herbicides, prepare the working solution according to the recommendations for each specific product. It is not allowed to add other products to the concentrated emulsion (stock solution).
Prepare a working solution and fill up the sprayer on special sites that are subsequently neutralized.
Ground boom sprayers such as OPSH-15-01, OP-2000-2-01, etc., are used for spraying.

Optimal result and the fastest herbicidal effect of the product are achieved:

when treating crops in early phases of weed development;
under most favorable weather conditions. The optimal air temperature is no higher than 250C. Do not spray beets weakened by frost, heat, pests.
Phytotoxicity
May exhibit phytotoxicity for sugar beet plants when applied under high air temperatures (above 25°C), and also if the plants are in a state of stress (frosts etc.). It is safer to use the herbicide during morning and evening hours.

Recommendations for the protection of useful objects of flora and fauna
The product is slightly hazardous to bees — hazard class 3. Compliance with the basic provisions of the "Instructions for the Prevention of Bee Poisoning by Pesticides" and the following ecological regulations should be observed:
carry out plant treatment at a wind speed of up to 4-5 m/sec;
buffer protection zone for bees — not less than 2-3 km;
restriction on bee flight — 3-6 hours.
It is necessary to notify the owners of apiaries 4-5 days before treatment.
Prohibited use of the product by aircraft and in the sanitary zone around fish farming water bodies at a distance of 500 m from the flooding boundary during maximum flood levels, but not closer than 2 km from existing banks.

Conditions of transportation and storage
Observe all generally accepted rules for transporting hazardous substances. Store the product in a dry place intended for storing pesticides. The temperature range for storage is from minus 10°C to plus 25°C. Before use, it is recommended to mix the product.

Warranty period of storage
2 years.

Hazard class
Hazard class 3, substance is moderately hazardous.
