Selective herbicide for controlling annual dicotyledonous weeds and some cereal grasses on sugar beet crops.
Mode of action:
Has contact action, penetrates into plants through the leaf apparatus, blocks photosynthesis process. High air temperature (but not higher than 25°С) and intense solar radiation enhance its effect. Does not affect weeds that have germinated after treatment. A slightly aggressive effect on the crop plants is observed.
Spectrum of action:
Sowing, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Goosegrass, Galinsoga parviflora, Field mustard, Deadnettle, Chickweed, Common orache, Yellow rocket, Middle starwort, Pigweeds, Loose bindweed, Wild poppy, Purslane, Field radish, Medicinal dittany, Field pansy, Thistle
Application regulations:
The preparation cannot be used in hot days with strong solar radiation or if there is a risk of night frosts, as well as on diseased or weakened plants, since damage to sugar beets is possible! It is recommended to carry out spraying at temperatures from +15 to + 25 ºС using ground equipment in the morning (before 10) and evening (after 18) hours with minimal air currents. Air speed during fine-drop spraying should not exceed 3 m/s, for large-drop -4 m/s. Do not spray on plants wet from rain or dew, or if precipitation is expected within the next 6 hours.
Spraying crops should be carried out in the cotyledon phase of weeds, and subsequent treatments — with an interval of 7-10 days.
Application rate: 200 — 300 l/ha
Features of application:
To expand the control spectrum of weeds, it is advisable to use in tank mixtures with preparations:
— Gold (active substance metamitron);
— Stemat 500 (active ingredient ethofumesate).
When using with products of other manufacturers, it is necessary to carry out a preliminary check for compatibility of components and phytotoxicity of the mixture.
Stefam New, EC is incompatible with alkaline substances.
Advantages:
— reliable action and safety of use thanks to the carefully balanced composition of the preparation form;
— optimal ratio of costs and results;
— wide range of action against broadleaf weeds;
— more aggressive effect on overgrown weeds;
— possibility of use in tank mixtures with other preparations;
— application periods ensure the possibility of using the preparation in any program for controlling broad-leaved weeds;
< br/>
— soil temperature and humidity do not affect efficiency
— no effect on subsequent crops in crop rotation.
