Description SEREGA
The 'Serega' pear variety is the result of crossing the 'Tyoma' and 'Lyubimitsa Klappa' varieties, developed by the Federal Altai Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology. The tree is of medium height with a round, medium-density crown. The fruits are widely pear-shaped, weighing from 60 to 115 grams, with a greenish-yellow color and a smooth surface. The flesh is white, of medium density, granulated, very juicy with a sour-sweet taste, which makes this variety particularly attractive to consumers.

The variety is characterized by early fruiting – the first fruits appear as early as the 4th-5th year after planting. The 'Serega' pear is characterized by high yield, reaching an average of 79.6 centners per hectare. It has good winter hardiness and resistance to common diseases, such as scab, as well as to pests, which facilitates care and reduces the need for intensive plant protection.

The fruits of the 'Serega' variety are universal in application: they are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing. Compotes, jams, dried fruits, and juices can be made from them. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to choose sunny plots with prepared soil, carry out regular pruning and timely fertilization, which contributes to maintaining the health of the tree and stable high yield.
