Zolottse

The Zolotce grape variety is a seedless hybrid created by crossing the Rusbol and Talisman varieties. This mid-season raisin grape is characterized by its early ripening period — the fruits are ready for harvest by late August. The clusters of Zolotce are large, conical in shape, weighing from 350 to 1000 grams depending on growing conditions and care. The berries are round, initially white, turning to a rich yellow upon ripening, weighing up to 6 grams. The skin is of medium thickness, soft, while the flesh is dense and fleshy, providing a pleasant taste and good transportability of the fruits. The variety has a distinct caramel musky aroma and a sweet taste with a light musky aftertaste that lingers on the tongue for a long time. Zolotce grape is distinguished by its high juice sugar content — from 19 to 24 g per 100 cm³, with titratable acidity of 4.5-5.5 g/dm³, making it an excellent choice both for fresh consumption and for producing raisins. The bushes are vigorous, with good vine maturation and hermaphroditic flowers, ensuring good self-pollination and high yield. Each fruiting shoot can form 2-3 inflorescences, which further enhances the plant's productivity. Zolotce is distinguished by its high frost resistance — it withstands temperatures of up to -24...-26°C, allowing the bushes to not be covered starting from the fourth year of vegetation. The variety is relatively resistant to fungal diseases, which eases care and reduces the need for treatments. The leaves of the plant are medium-sized, round, and green, while the vines are brown, grow quickly, and occupy a significant area. Thanks to its taste qualities, commercial appearance, and good transportability, Zolotce grape is popular among gardeners and consumers.
