SUGAR FLASH

Pea variety SUGAR FLASH is a medium-maturing sugar snap pea of Dutch selection from the company Syngenta Seeds. The vegetative period is approximately 70 days from the emergence of the main seedlings. Plants reach a height of 70-75 cm, distinguished by high resistance to lodging, drought, and adverse growing conditions, making this variety particularly productive and reliable for open ground.

The pods of SUGAR FLASH peas are green in color and have a regular shape, reaching a length of 7-8 cm and containing 5-7 peas. Due to the absence of a permanent (parchment) layer, the pods can be eaten whole, significantly expanding their usability. The variety is characterized by high sweetness, juiciness, and pleasant aroma, making it attractive to consumers. Additionally, the peas retain their flavor and nutritional properties after thermal processing, canning, and freezing.

SUGAR FLASH exhibits high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew (Ep) and false powdery mildew (Ep), as well as moderate resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fop:1). These characteristics ensure a stable yield and high product quality. The variety is recommended for fresh market sales, as well as for freezing and canning, making it a versatile and in-demand vegetable product.
