The vegetable pea variety Sherwood is an early and mid-season variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The period from germination to the beginning of technical maturity ranges from 47 to 68 days depending on growing conditions. The plant reaches a height of up to 90 cm, has a medium-length stem and large leaves that effectively shield the pods from solar radiation. The flowers are white, medium-sized, and the pods are straight with a blunt tip and medium length. The peas in technical maturity are dark green, uniform in size, ensuring an attractive appearance and high product quality.

The Sherwood variety is characterized by high adaptability to various growing conditions, including sharp temperature fluctuations and adverse weather factors. Thanks to its well-developed root system, the plant efficiently supplies the pods with beneficial microelements from the soil. The yield of this variety ranges from 61 to 84 centners per hectare, with a potential yield of up to 5-5.5 tons per hectare.
