Kozachka is a sharp mustard sauce made from freshly ground grains of black and white mustard. Its ingredients include water, alcoholic vinegar, sugar, salt, and spices: red hot pepper, turmeric, coriander, chili or cayenne pepper extract, and paprika. Thanks to the combination of these ingredients, the product has a bright pungent taste that is perfectly revealed in cold soups (okroshka), salads, sausages, and grilled dishes.
The packet weighs 130 g (in one of the versions – 175 g) and is packed in a glass jar, which ensures the preservation of aroma and taste. Kozachka mustard is especially popular among fans of spicy seasonings: it adds dishes a rich characteristic taste and an interesting color. When grilling or frying, meat acquires a deeper caramelization, while sausages and bacon become more aromatic.
The nutritional value of the product is 158 kcal per 100 g, of which fats make up 7.3 g (of which saturated – 0.3 g), carbohydrates – 13 g (of which sugars – 9.7 g), and proteins – 6.3 g.
