Freesia "Raisa" – this is a bright and fragrant variety of a perennial plant from the iris family. On a tall flowering scape, up to twelve buds will form, gradually opening from dark red shades to rich yellow-red flowers. The petals have a funnel shape: deep inside they are bright yellow, while the edges transition to a saturated red, sometimes with red flashes, creating the effect of a living flame.
The plant reaches a height of 20 to 60 centimeters, but modern hybrid varieties can grow up to 100 cm. The leaves are linear, up to 20 cm long and about one centimeter wide, giving the bush a neat and elegant appearance. Flowers are gathered in inflorescences of five on a branched scape, creating an elegant composition.
"Raisa" delights gardeners not only with its bright coloring but also with a delicate aroma that opens up from mid-summer. Thanks to its versatility, it can be used both in home pots and in open gardens, creating picturesque floral compositions.
