BLUE LAGOON is a biennial plant growing to about 20–25 cm in height, forming compact spherical bushes with bright blue flowers. Due to its low growth habit and dense bush structure, it is ideal for small flowerbeds, borders, and balcony planting beds.
For successful cultivation, it is necessary to follow the correct sowing and planting schedule: seeds are sown for seedlings at the end of June, and ready-made plants are transplanted into flowerbeds at the end of August. The distance between bushes should be maintained at 15–20 cm to ensure sufficient space for root system development and full flower opening.
The plant prefers a bright location with moderate soil moisture; optimal is partial shade on well-drained, fertilized soil. When planting, seeds should be placed in shallow furrows, covered with a thin layer of sand, and gently tamped down. After seedlings emerge, the protective material can be removed and seedlings thinned out as needed to form a denser bush.
