GREEN-EYED

Green-Eyed vegetable bean is an early-maturing variety of asparagus bean, characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The period from seedling emergence to technical bean maturity is 45-50 days, and to full seed maturity is 70-75 days. The plants are bush-type, slightly spreading, 35-40 cm tall, which facilitates care and harvesting.

Beans of the Green-Eyed variety are 9-12 cm long and 0.6-1 cm wide; they are juicy and fleshy, without a parchment layer or fibers, making them particularly attractive for home cooking and canning. The variety is characterized by a prolonged fruiting period lasting 63-75 days from the first to the last harvest, allowing multiple harvests during the season.

For successful cultivation of Green-Eyed bean, it is recommended to soak seeds before sowing until they swell and sow them at a depth of 2-3 cm in open ground. After seedling emergence, thinning is carried out. The plants require timely watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing. The variety is resistant to anthracnose and other plant diseases, contributing to stable and high-quality yields reaching 1.2-1.6 kg per square meter.
