ROSINKA bean is a medium-early asparagus bean variety with a period from germination to harvest of 55–65 days. The plant is bush-type, 35–40 cm tall, which ensures ease of growing and harvesting. Beans are yellow, about 11 cm long, without parchment layer and fibers, making them particularly tasty and convenient for culinary use. Seeds are large, white, located in pods 11 cm long and 1.5–2 cm in diameter, containing 4 to 10 seeds.
The variety is characterized by high and stable yield, reaching 7–8 tons per hectare, which makes it profitable for growing both in personal holdings and for commercial purposes. The bean contains 8.5–10% dry matter, 2.2–2.5% sugars, and 18–40 mg% vitamin C, indicating its nutritional value and beneficial properties. The plant is disease-resistant, reducing the need for chemical protection and increasing product eco-friendliness.
ROSINKA is intended for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing, making it a versatile product for home cooking. The bean is heat-loving; sowing in open ground is recommended in late May–early June after spring frosts, at a depth of 2–3 cm with a sowing rate of 80–125 kg per hectare or 75–80 grams per square meter. Seedling growing method is also possible: sowing seedlings in early May followed by transplanting into open ground in early June. The sowing scheme is 40x10 cm, which ensures optimal conditions for plant growth and development.
