Description Gerda
GERDA bean variety is an early-maturing climbing plant that begins to bear fruit just 50 days after germination. The plant has a moderate leaf area, with vine lengths up to 3 meters and the lower pods attached at a height of 45-50 cm. To ensure successful cultivation, it is recommended to use vertical supports, which promotes optimal development and harvest collection.

GERDA bean pods are straight, 20 to 30 cm long, round in cross-section, and yellow in color. The pod diameter is about 1.2-3 cm. A key feature of this variety is the absence of fibers and a parchment layer, making the beans particularly convenient for fresh consumption and culinary processing.

GERDA bean sowing is conducted in open ground at the end of May – beginning of June at a depth of 3-5 cm. The recommended planting scheme is 20x50 cm, which provides optimal space for plant growth and development. The variety yield reaches 3.5-4.0 kg per square meter, making it attractive for cultivation in both private plots and commercial purposes.
