Description Bernar
The Bernard F1 Eggplant is an early-maturing hybrid with a period from germination to fruiting of 102-107 days. The plant is semi-bushy, of medium height (60-70 centimeters), making it convenient for growing in film shelters and greenhouses. In southern regions, cultivation in open ground with direct sowing in April-May is possible. The absence of thorns on the pedicel facilitates harvest collection and plant care.

The fruits of the Bernard F1 eggplant have an elongated-cylindrical shape with a glossy dark-purple skin. The fruits reach a length of 15-20 centimeters, a diameter of 5-7 centimeters, and weigh about 380 grams. The flesh is yellowish-white, of medium density, without bitterness, which ensures high taste and technological qualities. High fruit setting allows obtaining 2 or more fruits per node.

The variety yield is about 5.1 kilograms per square meter with proper agrotechnics. The Bernard F1 eggplant is distinguished by good transportability and long-term retention of appearance and taste qualities. It is excellent for all types of culinary processing, including freezing and preparation of various dishes in the winter period.
