Hybrid begonia 'EAST BEAUTY' – this is a dwarf variety, distinguished by double flowers of various shades and vivid coloring. The plant height ranges from 90 to 120 cm, the width is about 50–60 cm, and the flower diameter reaches 20–25 cm. The flowering period lasts from July to October, which allows it to be used both in decorative vases and containers, and for bordering, bedding, and mass plantings.
Seeds are available as individual varieties and mixes, allowing for the creation of bright floral ensembles and compositions. The plant is grown from root material and is usually supplied as one specimen per pack. 'EAST BEAUTY' grows easily in sunny locations on light, fertile soils; planting depth is 15 cm, and distance between bushes is 50 cm.
Begonia is characterized by a long flowering period and attractiveness to butterflies. Due to the double flower form and large petals, it is suitable both for cutting and for garden group plantings. This plant is heat-loving, withstands temperature drops to –5 °C, but during the winter period, tubers are usually dug up and stored in slightly moist peat in a cool place.
