Georgina Table Dancer – a fringed variety with large inflorescences up to 15 cm in diameter and a plant height of about 120 cm. The flowers glow in shades of dark purple (fuchsia) and white, with petals featuring a characteristic cut shape that creates a fringed ruff effect. The white framing adds freshness to the flowers, making them particularly attractive for cutting and bouquet arrangement.
The plant is easy to grow both in open ground and in containers. For planting, tubers are planted at a depth of 10–15 cm, with a distance of about 30 cm between them. Georgina prefers a well-lit location, fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic reaction. The variety is not hardy: when temperatures drop to -5 °C, tubers must be dug up and stored in slightly moist peat.
Blooming begins in July–September, reaching its peak in mid-summer and continuing until autumnal cold sets in. After flowering, the tuber is cleaned of excess soil and prepared for winter storage. Thanks to easy care and resistance to unfavorable conditions, Table Dancer is suitable for both beginner floriculturists and professional compositional works.
