Description TISEL
The Tisel black currant variety is a large-fruited, early-ripening Polish selection, ripening at the end of June to early July. The plants are of medium height, about 1.5 meters, with dense and compact crowns, and branches directed upwards. The plant exhibits vigorous growth and high yield, which increases with age. This variety is low-maintenance and can successfully grow on various soil types, making it suitable for cultivation both in private gardens and on commercial plantations. The Tisel berries are large, single, weighing 2.2 to 3 grams, oval-shaped, black with a glossy surface. The flesh has a delicate sweet flavor with a pleasant black currant aroma, and the thin skin is practically not noticeable when consumed. Due to its good transportability and resistance to mechanical harvesting, this variety is widely used not only for fresh consumption but also for processing, freezing, and in the production of juices and other products. The Tisel variety shows high resistance to major fungal diseases, including leaf spot, and has good cold and drought tolerance. It withstands winter conditions and heat well, ensuring stable fruiting in various climatic zones. Thanks to its low-maintenance nature and disease resistance, this variety is a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality and abundant black currant harvests.
