Cucumber VIOREL

Practical Cultivation: Reliability and Efficiency

Viorel is a choice for growers who prioritize proven breeding performance. As an operator, you get a predictable output: this bee-pollinated variety requires access for pollinators, so in glass greenhouses, it is essential to ensure proper ventilation, while in open fields, the crop demonstrates excellent adaptability to local conditions.

Agrotechnical Performance

• Harvest Timeline: You can expect the first pickings within 40–45 days under optimal conditions, with a potential extension to 55 days in less ideal environments. This flexibility aids in production planning.
• Disease Resistance: The variety shows inherent resistance to olive spot and powdery mildew. In practice, this leads to significant savings on fungicides and reduced labor hours spent on chemical treatments.
• Vegetative Growth: The plant is highly vigorous, which requires timely pruning and monitoring of planting density to ensure the best yield distribution.

Viorel is easy to manage due to its inherent hardiness. Working with it does not require complex protocols, and its consistent fruit production allows for accurate yield forecasting throughout the season. If you are looking for a variety that is forgiving of minor maintenance errors and resistant to common fungal diseases, this is a solid professional choice.
