MINIATURE

The miniature cucumber variety 'Kapelya F1' is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation both in polyethylene greenhouses and in open ground. The plant forms 1-3 fruits at each node, ensuring high productivity. Fruits are short, cylindrical, dark green, with large bumps and smooth surface, reaching 7-10 cm in length and up to 160 g in weight. Yield of the variety is approximately 16.4 kg per square meter.

This variety is characterized by high resistance to low temperatures and tolerance to most common diseases, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Cucumbers have a bright flavor and crisp flesh, which is especially appreciated by consumers. Pickles 3-5 cm long are ideal for pickling as delicacies, whereas larger fruits 7-10 cm long are used fresh, for example, in salads.

For successful cultivation, seedlings should be sown at the end of April, followed by transplanting into soil at the end of May to early June when plants have 3-4 true leaves. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 25-30°C. Regular harvesting of fruits 2-3 times per week helps maintain high yield and quality of cucumbers. Planting scheme is 30x70 cm, ensuring sufficient space for plant development.
