DARK NIGHT

Cucumber 'Dark Night' F1 is a fast-growing hybrid of Chinese origin, characterized by high yield and excellent taste. The plant is strong, robust, with large leaves and long vines, ensuring abundant fruiting until mid-October. The hybrid exhibits high heat tolerance, resistance to low positive temperatures, and resistance to diseases of cucurbit crops, as well as good tolerance to slight shade, making it suitable for cultivation both in protected ground in middle zones and in open ground in southern regions.

The fruits of 'Dark Night' cucumber are large, ribbed, weighing 200-250 grams, with thin skin and small seed cavity. The flesh is crisp and juicy, with a pleasant sweet flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption and preservation. A small number of male flowers promotes uniform fruit formation and helps the plant regulate fruit load. Early maturity — first fruits appear 38-40 days after germination.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation on trellises with planting density not exceeding two plants per square meter. 'Dark Night' cucumbers are suitable for various uses, including fresh salads and preservation, such as pepper rolls for winter.
