EGOZA

The EGOZA cucumber variety is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid that begins fruiting 43-48 days after germination. The plants are strong and upright with limited lateral branching, significantly simplifying care and harvest. This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, under temporary coverings, and in open ground, making it a versatile choice for various growing conditions.

The fruits of the EGOZA cucumber are cylindrical, 10-12 cm long, with distinct large bumps and black spines. Each fruit weighs 110-120 grams. The cucumbers have an attractive market appearance, crisp texture, pleasant taste, and aroma. They are ideal for pickling, marinating, and fresh salads, expanding their culinary uses.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to true powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to false powdery mildew and root rots, which contributes to stable yields and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Yield per plant reaches 6-7 kg. For optimal cultivation, sow seedlings at the end of April, transplanting into the ground at the end of May to early June when plants have 3-4 true leaves, or sow directly into the ground in May-June, maintaining a planting scheme of 30x70 cm.
