Cucumber Elizaveta is a medium-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in protected ground. Plants are medium-height and medium-branching, requiring no complex care, making them suitable for both experienced and novice gardeners. Cucumbers have elongated-cylindrical shape, dark green color with a glossy surface and sparse large bumps. Fruit length is about 20-22 cm, flesh is dense, crisp, juicy and aromatic, possessing excellent taste qualities. The hybrid's yield reaches 17-18 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity of the variety. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, as well as cold and shade tolerance. These qualities ensure stable and high yields even under adverse conditions. Due to parthenocarpy, plants do not require pollination, simplifying cultivation and increasing fruiting reliability. Cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for salads and processing, including pickling and canning. For successful cultivation, seeds or seedlings should be planted in fertile, well-aerated soil enriched with organic materials such as sawdust or leaves. Sowing is conducted at the end of May, with seed depth of 1.5-2 cm and planting density of about 3 plants per square meter. Care includes regular watering with warm water and feeding every 10 days with manure or urea solution. Plant shaping is performed by pinching above the third leaf, promoting development of a strong and productive vine.
