TriLodji F1 — a high-yielding, early maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of cucumber of cornichon type, intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary film coverings. The maturation period is 36-38 days, enabling an early harvest. Plants are vigorous, long-vining, with short lateral branches, and form 3-4 fruits per node. The hybrid is characterized by high uniformity and consistency of fruit throughout the entire growing period, facilitating harvest and processing.
TriLodji fruits have a finely ribbed surface, cylindrical shape, and length of 8-10 cm, with a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 3.1:1. They are dark green, smooth, free of bitterness, and possess excellent flavor. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and all types of processing, including pickling, salting, and canning. Due to their high marketability and transportability, the harvest retains an attractive appearance during transportation and storage.
The hybrid exhibits comprehensive resistance to major cucumber diseases, including downy mildew, true powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. This ensures a stable and abundant yield even under stressful growing conditions. For successful cultivation, seed sowing should be conducted at a depth of 1-2 cm at a germination temperature of +13-15 °C and an optimal growth temperature of +25-30 °C, along with regular care including watering with warm water, fertilization, weeding, and soil loosening.
