Neilina

Neilina F1 is an ultra-early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Nunhems Zaden. This hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground and is characterized by a vegetative period of 40-45 days after emergence of the first seedlings. The plant features a strong root system and a compact bush, which contributes to high yield and resistance to adverse conditions.

The fruits of Neilina cucumber have a regular cylindrical shape, length from 9 to 12 cm, and weight from 80 to 110 g. Their skin is a deep green color with large bumps, and the flesh is dense and crisp. The hybrid has a pleasant taste with a rich aroma and is genetically free of bitterness, making it especially attractive to consumers. The fruit length-to-thickness ratio is approximately 3.1:1.

One of the key advantages of Neilina is its high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and cladosporiosis. The hybrid also has a high ability to regenerate after damage, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest — from one plant, you can collect 3 to 4 kg of quality fruits. Neilina is well-suited for intercropping schemes, which simplifies harvest collection and increases its efficiency.
