TOURNAMENT

Cucumber variety TOURNAMENT is a parthenocarpic mid-early hybrid, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic and glass-covered greenhouses, as well as in open ground. Plants are vigorous, climbing, with female-type flowering, ensuring fruit formation without pollination. Maturation period is 48-52 days, allowing for an early harvest. Recommended planting density is about 2.5 plants per square meter, which contributes to high yield — up to 6-7 kg per plant.

Fruits of cucumber TOURNAMENT have oval-cylindrical shape, 14-18 cm long, dark green color with small bumps and tender skin. Flesh is juicy and tender, without bitterness, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for preservation and pickling. The hybrid exhibits good transportability and retains its qualities even during short-term storage.

The variety is resistant to several diseases, including true powdery mildew, and shows moderate resistance to false powdery mildew and ascochitosis.
