NORTHERN STRONGMAN

Cucumber variety NORTHERN STRONGMAN is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid characterized by high yield and disease resistance. The time from germination to first harvest is approximately 40 days, allowing for an early harvest. Plants are predominantly female-flowering with short or medium-length vines and moderate leafiness, facilitating care and harvest.

Fruits of this variety have a length of 9 to 14 cm and weight of 70 to 100 g. They have an oval or occasionally cylindrical shape, with large warts and white down. The cucumbers have an attractive appearance with green color, sometimes with stripes or mottling. Due to their flavor, they are suitable for fresh consumption as well as pickling.

The NORTHERN STRONGMAN variety is intended for cultivation in open ground and spring plastic greenhouses, making it versatile for various climatic conditions, including the middle belt and central chernozem region. The main advantage of this hybrid is its high resistance to true and false powdery mildew, significantly reducing disease risk and enhancing crop stability.
