Description Orlik
Cucumber variety ORLIK is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, reaching fruiting stage 47-50 days after germination. This hybrid is primarily intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, but can also be successfully grown in open ground under proper conditions. Seedling planting is recommended in late April, and transplanting into the ground should occur at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May to early June. Direct sowing in greenhouses is also possible in mid-May, with planting spacing of 50x50 cm.

The ORLIK cucumber fruits are cylindrical, 14-16 cm long, and weigh 120-150 g. They are bumpy, white-stemmed, and free of bitterness, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and preservation. One to three fruits form in leaf axils, contributing to high yield — up to 6-8 kg of cucumbers per plant.

The crop is resistant to true powdery mildew and shows relative resistance to false powdery mildew and root rots. ORLIK cucumber requires warmth, moisture, and fertile soil; it responds well to organic and mineral fertilizers, enabling stable, high-quality yields with proper care.
