CRUMB SON

CRUMB SON is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and spring polytunnels. The maturation period is 40-45 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is medium-height and strongly branched with a female flowering type, forming predominantly 3-4 fruits in leaf axils, which contributes to high yield.

The fruits of this hybrid are short, cylindrical, dark green with short stripes. The skin is bumpy, with medium-sized bumps and medium-density white hairs. The weight of the cucumbers ranges from 70 to 90 grams. They are juicy, tasty, and aromatic, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 10 kg per square meter — as well as resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis, true and false powdery mildew. Seed sowing is recommended in April-May for seedlings, followed by transplanting into the ground in May-June.
