Description Tekhas
Cucumber variety TEXAS is a parthenocarpic salad hybrid designed for cultivation in open ground and under temporary film coverings. The plant is medium-height with moderate branching and predominantly female flowering, with one to three female flowers forming in each leaf axil. Leaves are medium-sized and dark green, giving the plant an attractive appearance and promoting good photosynthesis.

The TEXAS cucumber fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, 14-16 cm long, dark green with rare white pubescent bumps. The cucumbers are known for their excellent taste and high content of microelements, making them especially beneficial when eaten fresh and for preparing summer salads. The average fruit weight is about 225 grams, and the market yield reaches 12.3 kg per square meter.

The hybrid exhibits comprehensive resistance to major cucumber diseases, including cladosporiosis, fusarium, powdery mildew, and tolerance to downy mildew. These traits ensure stable fruiting, which begins on day 44 after emergence of full seedlings. Due to its qualities and resistance, TEXAS cucumber is an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality harvests with minimal plant protection costs.
