SUOMI

The cucumber Suomi is a super early, parthenocarpic hybrid that does not require pollination and is characterized by high yield. From germination to the first harvest, it takes only 38-40 days, allowing for an early and stable crop. The plant exhibits strong growth with limited lateral branching, which forms 3-4 internodes and ends in a cluster of fruiting nodes that produce 5-6 fruits. The leaves are large and dark green, indicating healthy plant development.

The fruits of the cucumber Suomi have an oval shape, length of 5-6 cm, and diameter of 3-3.5 cm, with each fruit weighing 80-90 grams. Their surface is irregularly ribbed with frequent bumps, and the spines are black. The fruit color is dark green with blurred whitish stripes that extend to one-third of the fruit length. The skin is dense and firm, while the flesh is juicy and crisp, and the hybrid is genetically free of bitterness, making it particularly appealing for consumption.

The Suomi hybrid is highly resistant to root rot, false powdery mildew, and sudden temperature fluctuations, ensuring a stable yield even under adverse weather conditions. Due to its excellent taste and firm fruit structure, the cucumber is suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling, making it a versatile choice for cultivation in open fields and greenhouses.
