Description Botsman
BOCZMAN — an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber, intended for cultivation in open and protected ground. The period from germination to the onset of harvestable maturity is 46-50 days. Plants are climbing, female-flowering, with fruit clusters forming 2-5 fruits per node. Cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, weighing 60-90 grams, with warty surfaces and white down. They possess excellent taste qualities: juicy, crisp, and free of bitterness, making them ideal for canning, pickling, and fresh consumption. Yield reaches 10-12 kg per square meter. For planting, both direct sowing into the ground and seedlings aged 20-30 days are recommended. Optimal planting density in open ground is 4-5 plants per square meter, and in greenhouses — 2-3 plants per square meter. In greenhouse conditions, plants are tied to a trellis and trained into a single stem, with lateral branches pinched above the 2nd-3rd leaf. Regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization are necessary for successful cultivation. Harvesting is recommended every 2-3 days to maintain high-quality yield.
