Rushnichok

Cucumber Rushnichok F1 is a mid-season, high-yielding hybrid with a predominance of female nodes, ensuring abundant fruiting. The plant is medium-height, medium-branched, and shade-tolerant, making it suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground. Due to its adaptability, this hybrid is also suitable for indoor cultivation, such as on a windowsill. The vegetative period is 43-48 days from germination to the onset of fruiting, making it early-maturing and convenient for early harvests.

The fruits of cucumber Rushnichok have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and a length of 15-18 cm. They feature large, distinct bumps and white spines, giving them an attractive appearance. The cucumbers are uniformly shaped, do not yellow quickly, and retain their commercial and flavor qualities. The flesh has a sweet taste and a rich cucumber aroma, which is especially prized in fresh summer salads. Due to the dense structure of the fruits and excellent pickling qualities, these cucumbers are widely used for preservation.

The hybrid Rushnichok is resistant to root rot, as well as true and false powdery mildew, enhancing the reliability and stability of the harvest. It is recommended to plant seedlings at the end of April, with transplanting into the ground at the end of May to early June when the plants have 3-4 true leaves. Direct sowing in the ground is possible in May-June with an optimal planting scheme of 30x70 cm. Yield is 6-7 kg per plant, making this hybrid attractive for both hobbyist and commercial cultivation.
