Cucumber BOROVICHOK

Borovichok is an early-maturing cucumber hybrid that starts fruiting 40-45 days after emergence. It is predominantly female-flowering with partial parthenocarpy, promoting seedless fruit formation. The plant is tall and indeterminate, capable of thriving both in open ground and under temporary plastic coverings or in greenhouses. The hybrid exhibits resistance to major cucumber diseases, including root rot, true and false powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Borovichok's zucchini are 9-12 cm long and weigh 70-120 grams. They are large-ribbed, bright green with white or light stripes and black hairs. The flesh is dense, crisp, low-seeded, and non-bitter, making them versatile for use. Suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, marinating, and salad preparation. Due to their taste and appearance, the fruits are popular among gardeners and consumers. Borovichok adapts well to various soil conditions, including poor soils and low-light areas. With proper care and regular watering, yields can reach 7.5-8 kg per square meter. This hybrid is an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable, high-yielding cucumber with a long fruiting period and versatile use.
