Cucumber "Prankster" is an extremely early parthenocarpic hybrid with predominantly female flowering and cluster inflorescence, forming 4 to 6 fruits per node. The first green fruits can be harvested as early as 46-50 days after germination. The plant is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, making it a versatile option for various climatic conditions.
The fruits are cylindrical in shape with large bumps, measuring 8-10 cm in length and 3-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing up to 90 g. The green fruits are notably juicy and crisp, without voids or bitterness, making them especially appealing for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and marinating. The hybrid's high taste quality combines with excellent yield, reaching 9-10 kg per square meter.
The "Prankster" hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, olive spot, true and false powdery mildew, as well as cladosporiasis and combiiosis. Additionally, the plant tolerates temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest even under challenging climatic circumstances.
