Cucumber variety Pasadena (Pasadena F1) is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid developed by Dutch breeders of the company SYNGENTA SEEDS B.V. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic greenhouses, ensuring its versatility and wide application. Plants are medium-height with dark green leaves and predominantly female flowering, forming 2-3 fruits per node, which contributes to high yield.

The fruits of the Pasadena cucumber have a cylindrical shape with a distinctively ribbed surface and white spines. Their length ranges from 6 to 9 cm, and average weight is 65-95 g. The green color with stripes and absence of bitterness make them especially appealing for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and preservation. The flesh is dense and free of cavities, which enhances the vegetable's commercial quality and taste characteristics.

The variety exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases such as cladosporiosis, powdery mildew, and cucumber mosaic virus. Thanks to this, Pasadena demonstrates stable fruiting, which begins on the 45-50th day after mass germination and lasts for a long time. Yield ranges from 11 to 25 kg per square meter, corresponding to 153-291 centners per hectare under good care and suitable cultivation conditions.
