Cucumber variety OZORNIK is a medium-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is indeterminate, strong-growing, and highly branched with a female flowering type. Leaves are medium-sized and green, while the cucumbers have a cylindrical shape with a warty surface, average length of 10-12 cm, and diameter of about 3-3.5 cm. Fruits are green with stripes and slight mottling, covered with medium-density white down. The weight of one cucumber is approximately 100 grams.
This hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 7.3-10 kg per square meter, and early maturity — the first fruits can be harvested as early as 46-50 days after germination. Cucumbers have dense, juicy, crisp flesh with excellent taste qualities that are retained both fresh and after pickling or marinating. The fruits are non-bitter, making them especially attractive to consumers.
OZORNIK is resistant to a range of diseases and adverse conditions: it is tolerant to powdery mildew, tobacco mosaic virus, olive spot, cladosporiasis, verticillium wilt, and root rots. The hybrid also withstands temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions, ensuring a stable yield and high fruit quality across various climatic zones.
