Rucheek

The cucumber variety Rucheek is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, intended for cultivation in open ground and early-season unheated greenhouses. The plant is medium-height and medium-branched, with predominantly female flowering, which ensures high fruit set without pollination. Leaves are medium-sized and green, and each node forms one to four zucchini, contributing to high yield.

The fruits of the Rucheek cucumber have a cylindrical shape, light green or dark green color with short stripes and medium density of white hairs. Zucchini are short, about 8-10 cm long, weighing 45-50 grams, with medium-sized bumps. The taste of the fruits is good and excellent, making this variety versatile for salads and preservation. The hybrid has high market yield, reaching up to 35 kg per square meter.

The variety is resistant to several diseases, including fusarium, bacterial disease, powdery mildew, and tolerance to false powdery mildew. Thanks to its high degree of parthenocarpy and adaptability to various climatic conditions, Rucheek is suitable for cultivation under harsh conditions, including in the West Siberian region. This makes it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality cucumber harvest.
