Cucumber ODYS F1

Reliable harvest in challenging climates

The Polish selection approach from PNOS Ozarow Mazowiecki is embodied in the ODIS F1 hybrid — a cucumber that balances visual market appeal with field hardiness. In environments where most hybrids succumb to pathogen pressure, this variety demonstrates remarkable resistance to downy mildew, making it a strategic choice for humid regions.

Visual and culinary qualities

ODIS F1 produces fruits with a classic length of 9–10 cm, ideal for both pickling and fresh consumption. The medium-warty skin and deep dark-green color give the fruits an attractive, premium market appearance. Notably, the hybrid is not prone to overgrowing or yellowing, which is a critical advantage for growers who cannot commit to daily harvesting.

Why choose ODIS F1?

• Comprehensive immunity: Genetic resistance to viral mosaics and downy mildew reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, lowering production costs.
• Predictability: Fruit uniformity ensures efficient packaging and simplifies the sorting process.
• Adaptability: The plant handles temperature fluctuations well, maintaining consistent fruit set under varying open-field conditions.

This cucumber is optimal for those seeking a «workhorse» for professional cultivation. It is forgiving of minor maintenance errors and guarantees a stable output of commercial-grade produce even during difficult weather seasons. If your goal is minimal chemical input with predictable high quality, ODIS F1 is a reliable and efficient solution.
