Ela

Ela F1 cucumber is a bee-pollinated medium-late maturing hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground. The period from planting to harvest is approximately 45-48 days. The plant features a strong root system and high resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis, common cucumber mosaic, powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to false powdery mildew pathogens.

The fruits of Ela F1 cucumber are cylindrical, dark green, with a slightly warty surface and white spines. Fruit length varies from 8 to 11 cm, with a diameter of 1-5 cm, giving a length-to-width ratio of about 3.8:1. Each fruit weighs 90-100 g. The cucumbers are not prone to yellowing, have excellent taste qualities, and are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting.

For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown in mid-May directly into open ground or grown as seedlings under warm conditions, followed by transplanting after the threat of frost has passed. The plant prefers sunny areas with quickly warming, nutrient-rich, and well-watered soil. Harvesting occurs from July to September, allowing for abundant and high-quality yields of Ela F1 cucumbers.
